Heart Of Darkness

Loneliness is calling
The silence around me is appalling
I can't see my choices
All I can hear are distant voices

My heart is now blinded
It makes all simple complicated
My thoughts are beginning to blur
The growing darkness inside causes a stir

But in this darkness not all hope is lost
Faded memories help my frozen heart defrost
These cherished memories help me move on
Even through darkness, some hope lives on

And this darkness is where choose to be
The peace in here makes me feel free

I wish could start all over again
But for now, I'm enjoying this soothing rain
